Our three recommended methods for installing our Acoustic Wall Panels.
1. Glueing directly onto the wall.
A construction glue or grab adhesive is advised for this task.
2. Screwing right into the wall.
The panels may be put directly into the wall through the acoustic felt with black screws for the black backing option and silver or grey screws for the grey backing option. We propose a minimum of 9 screws per panel, spaced 200mm apart across the width and 800mm along the length. If placing in ceilings, ensure that they are fastened into the ceiling joists. When working with plasterboard, for example, make sure you use the proper fasteners.
3. Screwing the panels to 45mm wood batons
To ensure maximum sound absorption, we propose nailing 45mm timber batons to the wall, followed by putting the panels directly into the batons through the acoustic felt. When combined with Rockwool sound insulation under the panels between the batons, this results in Class A sound absorption.
